After Madonna, Rick Astley sings Don't Cry for Me Argentina for BBC show

After Madonna, Rick Astley sings Don't Cry for Me Argentina for BBC show: "It’s a show-stopping anthem of female strength and vulnerability that has been belted out by Madonna, Sinéad O’Connor and Shirley Bassey.

But now Rick Astley is the surprise choice to sing Don’t Cry for Me Argentina for a BBC tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The 80s pop star will take on the famous appeal to her countrymen, sung by the spirit of Eva Perón, Argentina’s controversial First Lady, in the most famous scene from Evita, the musical written by Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice."
